Cut the avocado in half and remove the center pit. Scoop the avocado away from the outer skin and into a bowl. Mash it with a fork.
Dice the onion, tomato, and jalapeno. Add them to the bowl with the mashed avocado.
Add seasoning and mix everything together.

Yield 1 ½ to 2 cups of guacamole.Store in an airtight container either all the way to the top or lined with plastic wrap touching the guacamole to prevent browning.
