Guacamole

Guacamole is probably the fastest and most nutritious comfort food. All you need is a knife, fork, and 5 minutes to make this delicious dip.

Ingredients
 

  • 3 avocados
  • ¼ cup tomato diced
  • 1 Tbsp jalapeno diced small
  • ¼ cup onion diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp lime or lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the center pit. Scoop the avocado away from the outer skin and into a bowl. Mash it with a fork.
  • Dice the onion, tomato, and jalapeno. Add them to the bowl with the mashed avocado.
  • Add seasoning and mix everything together.

Notes

Yield 1 ½ to 2 cups of guacamole.
Store in an airtight container either all the way to the top or lined with plastic wrap touching the guacamole to prevent browning.
